Please note the new challenge at
Lately, here on DA I've been seeing some very inspiring artwork that features a child. Not all of it "sugar n spice" I note too. I thought we might challenge ourselves to work with a model image that features a little 'lumpin'. So, keep in mind that the manip does NOT necessarily have to be "sweet," you can do a darker image (assuming the stocker is OK with that) Just let's not go over the top gory.
Also, not having gotten any response to my inquiry of as to whether you preferred this idea to another (Sandman), I decided to save the latter for another month. So let's go...I hope to see MANY of y'all (and tell your friends too) take on this game. Here are the details:
The requirement for this challenge will be to show us a manip that includes a child. The idea can be a design type of image OR a scenic one but it MUST include the little one. The model should be the focus in either design or scenic.
Send us your best work, let us see your talent, folks. (Just as you HAVE been doing
3D models are acceptable
Media must be a manipulation or mixed media manipulation.
Challenge ends August 16th (at midnight) 2015

Here are some examples (note that a few I've included of my own work, are smallish as I'd lost the originals in the hard drive crash and only have these teeny ones from another site I had uploaded them to) One more thing, I've added a few pics of my own to my stock gallery, in case you care to use "unknown" child images.
Be sure to tell your friends or include this journal in any groups you are an "influencer" in. And by ALL means, let your buddies know about our little group
